CLINICAL HISTORY: +- 76 years old penis with African origins & attached parts + history of hemorrhagic stroke ++++++  = wreckage.
Comrade known with melanoma, from left upper back - approach wit care ?  Rule out underlying nasty metastatic disease from melanoma ... Please.

COMPARISON - for office party thing only: 10/18/2014 MRI

TECHNIQUE: Multiple slice-sequences through the brain were acquired at 1.5 Tesla = he didn't feel a thing...physically - seemed happy to chat ... I remember him.

CONTRAST MEDIA: Intravenous gadolinium chelate was administered for post-contrast imaging - sadly w/o the usual table dancing effect - weed next time.

FINDINGS:

There is no reduced diffusion the brain parenchyma or calvarium. No hydrocephalus, midline shift or brain herniation ... believin' whatever works.

There is no suspicious intracranial enhancement = this fucker's an historical pinpoint to the minus 1Kth.

The prior hemorrhagic lesion in the right occipital lobe is seen as a slightly smaller zone of susceptibility artifact...creep could have at least grown up.There is no associated suspicious enhancement or new mass effect to suggest an underlying lesion - legions will be delt with if they show - call 911 - duh!

Unchanged numerous foci of T2/FLAIR signal hyperintensity involving the supratentorial brain parenchyma and also the central pons - do not fuck with us - it's late.These are nonspecific but most likely represent a consequence of chronic small vessel ischemic disease = get him back to his transients - in his oh so small vessels - thinks he's cool.

IMPRESSION:

Expected evolution of right occipital hemorrhagic focus, without evidence of underlying evolving lesion - thinks normal vision coming soon - let 'im sleep.

No evidence of intracranial metastatic disease = sweet - why the heart-on-sleeve mouth ?!   anti-puritan strain?   shares shit.

Not recommended for catheterizational family-home care = ?     get his BP up  fooo     carb the sucker

Bill Dane: The Photographic Postcard As a Conceptual Art Work

William Williams - Haverford College - Pennsylvania

Thomas Garver Haverford College class of 1956 was contacted last June to solicit ideas as to how to structure an exhibition to acknowledge his support of the photography collection at Haverford over two decades. He replied that his gift should be thought of as an “Accidental Collection” because that is what it is. The hundreds of prints and related material that he has given signify that it is more than that. O. Winston Link, Charles Currier, vernacular photography and Bill Dane’s real photographic post card correspondence stand out because of their sheer numbers and affinity with each other. Graver wrote of Dane’s postcard photographs:

One might imagine Dane as one photographer among many in a crowd, waiting for the momentary appearance of a "great personality," The figure appears--all cameras fire in unison--except Dane's, His reflexes appear to be curiously skewed. While all the other Photographers get the standard "shot," Dane gets the special, perhaps awkward, but very personal photograph, the photograph that turns our "personality" bock into a person.

Dane’s Photographic post card correspondence to Garver is a succinct summing up of this esthetic and the state of photography in the middle of the 20th century. The twenty-four post cards on exhibition are at once a meditation on the meaning of photographs, the technology of image transmission and a record of a correspondence between friends. The cards are displayed so that both sides can be seen. This allows the image and text to be experienced as Dane made them. Tom’s description of his gift as “Accidents” is instructive and a rewarding way to look at and to appreciate the originality of Bill Dane’s work.

I had +- 1500 pictures in older versions of the site.
Overwhelming and Underedited !
The 3 eras have logics.
The eras are functional divisions - for viewers.
I edited for 2 months 'weeding' my garden = very satisfying.
We found the logical breaks and put +-100 pictures in each.
We created 'Right Now' = Flickr - for recent pictures.
These are rough edited pictures - not digested over time - yet !
? Do I prefer an era (no) or pictures = I selected each picture from thousands since '69.
Jan-Feb - 2 months of re-editing = I prefer them all.
But !  I don't look back (except to website).
So !  Could say I prefer the pictures in reverse chronological order.
What I'm up to Right Now is all it's about.

I must expand and short-circuit my 'literal' - rather than whatever a vice-versa might be:

'Conceptual - mail art', hmmmnn,  an issue for J.S. - doesn't figure ... 'literal' fits perfect.

My first photo-pictures were informed by pop - process & environment art - finding existing subjects.

Rather than spending millions wrapping shit - digging big holes - buying $$$studio materials ... 

Defrocking the masterpiece ... then seeing Ruscha parking lots-gas stations - then Frank +  ...

What about that could have bothered J.S.?

I'd started mailing in '69  - met him in '71 and started mailing him the pictures from the '73 show +++

I will assume you gotta be right M.  but 'conceptual-mail art' never registered = 'literal' forever.

It's all stories . . . this one's fun fragmented.

I have an itching - it's probably personally best that the 'scene' I lived with - the brain I got - here on a western edge of reality - offered the degree of blind that perped my picture making identity all these years - at 75 it will be entitledly painless and quite entertaining to slowly discover the naive futility of my gestures - I loved those guys' films -  missed whole points in my swoons - Bresson  Godard  Truffaut  Renais  Rohmer  Bergman  - Vous êtes un remorqueur! (tugboat) And there are folks who say they love my pictures - they must live on an edge too.  I love it - and will evolve some shit tomorrow to Keep On Truckin'...  Thanks
