Kitaj did a semester at UCBerkeley in'67-'68, 
i was doing a masters in painting 
looking at my paintings for a seminar he says, 
"These are the best pictures I've seen out here (west coast), 
but ya know Bill, the heroics of these were done by Kandinsky and Mondrian." 
It still took me 2 yrs to stop, get a camera, self-learn & go... 
love it! Bill.

I do a Flickr gallery.
Out of millions of Flickr pictures it's impossible to know and find all of what's out-there. 
It is often inspiring and humbling to find-see so many quite-fine-to-wonderful pictures! 
In a few places on the planet my pictures get valued by chance-luck ... 
But we miss most of the beauties out-there!
